If you already have our 231 Auto shift kit and are having issues going in and out of 4 low, you need this extension! This kit will correct the linkage geometry to allow for more overall adjustment than the base 231 linkage kit.

***This hardware is included already in the 231 Manual kits!***

Good but could maybe be better

I got the shifter link as an upgrade to the crummy stock setup. After not being able to shift in or out of 4lo, I learned that the extension should solve the issue. After maybe 30min of messing with tuning it in, I was able to get it shifting through 2wd, 4hi, N, and 4lo consistently without any hiccup. However when putting it into 4lo I do have to give it a little tug to engage all the way. Not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be but it’s still working out for me.
